Monday October 26 and Tuesday October 27th, 2020
The parking lot access will be affected. Parents will not be able to enter parking lot, and unfortunately will ohave to walk students around the back of the school while asphalt and painting is done.
Also, please see attached newsletter which includes the following:
•Costumes welcome on Friday Oct. 30—no weapons please.
Our students (and staff) enjoy the opportunity to dress up and we invite our students to participate by wearing their Halloween costumes to school. As in previous years—no pretend weapons at school please, and children should be able to manage the school day in what they are wearing.
•In keeping with our Health and Safety protocols our staff met and discussed that it would be best during this unusual year, not to accept or distribute Halloween treats from students to the class. Some of our parents have made inquiries about this. We will focus on costumes. More advice from the B.C. Center for Disease Control for families: http://www.bccdc.ca/health-info/diseases-conditions/covid-19/social-interactions/halloween
•Halloween Photos for a video montage-At both morning recesses we will play Halloween music and take photos of children in costumes to prepare a Halloween Video of all the interesting costumes to share with the school in a “Zoombly” in the afternoon.
