Valuing Diversity on Pink Shirt Day

Our Theme for February and March is Valuing Diversity.  We believe that although we are the same in many ways,  we are also different in many other ways---and that's a GOOD THING!  All Ferris students and staff are encouraged to wear Pink on Wednesday February 27 for our national "Pink Shirt Day" Assembly, as we put our attention to how we treat each other. 

We will have a Family Teams activity and a special assembly to celebrate Pink Shirt Day”.

At Ferris we value the diversity of our school community and we expect everyone to treat others with respect and kindness each and every day.  Pink Shirt Day is a day to pay special attention to, and remind us of, the importance of valuing the diversity of others through kindness, respect, empathy, acceptance, and “doing the right thing”.
